Debra Lehman

Washington Area Chapter President

 

Debra Lehman is currently responsible for business development of Navy Programs at MCR Federal, LLC, with over 20 years of professional experience in performing cost/price estimating and analysis for both commercial and defense industry in the areas of missiles, unmanned vehicles, aircraft and information systems. Her academic background includes a Bachelors degree in Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering from UCLA, and she has completed graduate work in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Northeastern and Loyola Marymount University, respectively. 

Debra has been an active SCEA participant for many years starting with the local chapter in Los Angeles (representing Northrop Grumman Corporation) and recently completing 2 terms as the Washington DC Chapter Membership Chairperson. She has regularly supported the National Conferences industry participation via her company’s sponsorship since 1995 including running the Methods & Models Track for the past 3 annual conferences.  As the Membership Chair she has gotten to know the Washington area membership well and has helped grow the chapter membership through distribution of monthly notices for brown bag luncheon speakers; and supported the transition from email campaign notices to the current on line automated notification system.  As Vice President of the Washington Chapter, she plans on continuing to play an active role on the Chapter board supporting her fellow officers and taking advantage of her network of contacts to provide for continued growth of the Chapter Membership and conduct of annual training sessions for the local membership.
